A thread on the Ventura board gave me this idea. What movies and tv shows have been filmed IN San Diego County?

The 90's crime show "Silk Stalkings" was mostly filmed in San Diego, although it was set in Florida. The TV show "Veronica Mars" was also filmed in San Diego.

Think there was a show called Renegade that was as well.

Just look up Stu Segall studios in Kearny Mesa. They do a lot of "B" shows and films.

I know the main character was a San Diego Police Officer per the storyline, so it makes sense that at least the first few episodes would have been. I think majority of the others were filmed throughout SoCal and the desert southwest (mostly LA area I think).

Titanic was filmed in Ensenada (nearby), so was Master and Commander of the Sea.

BTW, they have regular tours of that facility and it is well done.
