My DIL makes the best B & C salad. Some of you may already have this recipe but I have had a few ask for it so here goes:

Ingredients:

1 head of Cauliflower
1 bunch of Broccoli
1 onion
1 green pepper (optional)
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup vinegar
1 cup salad dressing (Miracle Whip works the best)
1 tsp. dry mustard
Salt and Pepper to taste

Mix dressing and pour on the vegetables. Let stand ( she does for at least an hour). It does keep very well, but not around here. We eat all of it in record time! Enjoy!!!

Here's mine, it's a bit different than yours and I don't know the exact measurements because I always just go by eye.

one good sized bunch of broccoli
equal amount of cauliflower(about half a head)
about half a large red onion, diced
about half a pound cheddar cheese, shredded
1/4 pound bacon, fried crisp and crumbled

Dressing:
about 3/4 a cup of mayo (a couple scoops of a big spoon)
a couple splashes of apple cider vinegar (maybe 2 tablespoons)
a tablespoon of sugar

I usually mix the dressing then taste it and adjust accordingly. I also leave out some of the bacon to sprinkle on top for decoration. This usually tastes better if you make it an hour ahead so the flavors can meld a little.
