In all honesty, if I could drink all of my nutrition and always have a drink on hand, I'd never eat. I'm not talking alcohol. I'm talking juices, milk (with additives because I'm L.I.), sodas, etc.

It's not like I'm intent on a liquid "diet" in order to lose weight, I just prefer a drink over food. I do sometimes blame my love of drinks on TMJ (I can seriously pop my jaw open like a snake does).

Sorry, just wanted to announce my love of liquid nutrition. As I sit here with 2 different flavors of Propel, a Chai Latte, and Kool-Aid.

Does anyone have good recipes for drinks? ((even alcohol))

When I want an interesting cocktail recipe, I watch Semi-Home Made Cooking with Sandra Lee (think I got that right) on The Food Network. She makes cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic on every show.

Drinks are what makes the world go round. Wine for a nightcap, cordials for desserts (great over ice cream or cakes), hard stuff mixed with sparkling water and a gazillion new tricks for your blender to learn.

The quickest, easiest way to make a flavored vodka is to put koolade powder in it, shake, then serve ice cold on the rocks with a twist of lemon and a spritz of sparkling water.
