Any recommendations for where to buy a maple 15-25 feet high? We hope to get one planted in the ground this weekend...we are running a little late but would like to bring a little more shade to our front yard, plus one of our is dying. Maybe the farmer's market? We are in Wake Forest so if anyway could recommend a nursery or knows of a vender at the market that would be great!

Thanks!

Note: I have not done business with these folks, but it seems like they routinely do what you are asking.

Broadwell's Nursery is always a good place to buy trees and othe rplants very inexpensively. However, getting a tree that size in the ground is going to be the hard and/or expensive part.

I bought a couple of 16 foot October Glory maple trees from Atlantic Nursery in Raleigh several years ago. They placed them in the yard near where I was going to plant them. I dug my own holes, and then rolled them into the hole without too much difficulty.

I'll second the justrees recommendation! I needed the biggest replacement tree I could find and they were the only ones who had it (and I called about 20 professional landscapers who do tree replacements).
