I'm a young, single female looking at some of the townhouse communities in southwest Raleigh. I'm especially interested in the Grove Park townhomes, but kind of scared away by the neighborhood, so any insight here would be appreciated as well as neighborhood recommendations (I've also looked at the Tryon Crossings neighborhood, Renaissance Park, and Crescent Ridge). Hoping to stay under $200k to get the nicest townhome that I can, (new or recently updated with 2-3 bedrooms) within as close distance as possible to downtown Raleigh.

Thanks!

the Grove Park Townhomes don't thrill me, personally. I don't like the look of them.

Of the ones you mentioned, I've had buyers buy in all of them, for different reasons.

Of that list, I prefer Crescent Ridge but that is because I know that those always re sell quite well. I do like Renassaince Park but since they are still building, I'm not sure how re-sale will be. I know, I know. You buy what you want but make sure your Realtor gives you her 2 cents' worth, even if you don't listen!!!

that's funny-- I LOVE the look of them, they're my favorites by far just based on the houses themselves. Just mainly concerned about the area.

Oops...sorry. I was thinking of the Groves in Morrisville, not Grove Park!!!

The Groves are all white and look identical.
