I went to sign up my son for fall baseball with Raleigh Parks and Rec today. Unfortunately, I had missed the deadline and all spaces were full.

Are there any other youth leagues in the North Raleigh area? Please help me avoid being Worst Mom of the Year in the MOVING category.

You could try North Wake baseball. It is a more competitive league. Don't know when sign ups are... There is also the YMCA.

Hi there,

I'm in New Jersey, but if you google "north raleigh baseball leagues for kids", then click on newsobserver.com, a page will come up with a list of baseball camps, leagues, and other sports. I hope this helps. Jeannie

Default Try Rolesville

Town of Rolesville Fall ball sign up deadline was Friday, BUT if they are full you can ask to be on a waiting list. I think I get the worst mom of the year award... I got my son in (on a wait list) and after a little confusion he started at the first game! No practice for him Anyhow, Rolesville is a nice little town, and there are three fields that are all in the same location (big perk). They are very spirited about their game. Not certain about Fall, but they kick off the spring season with a parade, small festival of sorts, and the "throwing of the first ball" by the mayor! I live in North Raleigh right near 540 and it's easy to get to. Good luck!

I'm the coach of Wilders Grove Youth Centers Little League Fall Baseball Team.
We play the Rolesville team in fall baseball but are located in northeast Raleigh. I'm not sure of your childs age but we are looking for ages 10 to 11 to fill our roster. If you are interested or know of others who may be, please pass the information along.

DLeeKoons I have a 9 yo who is dying to play but maybe one year too young for your team. Do you know anywhere that might still be looking? I called Wilders Grove but they didn't know how to contact you
