So tired and still so much unpacking and organizing to do, not to mention breaking down allllllllll the boxes and recycling, but we LURVE it here! Yesterday we got our fill of hot & sunny, and today it's beautifully cool and cloudy again. Everything seems so gorgeous and clean and good-smelling, neighbors are friendly. Our senior doggie is a little out of sorts but I think she'll adjust. No questions or polls or trolls, just a happy post

We moved from Austin, Texas. Nice there, too, but this is gorgeous.

Me too. I moved from RR back in mid May and I still have 2 more boxes to unpack. The yard is still a mess. We bought a bank owned property and there was a lot of basic things the house needed in order to be habitable. We had 558 individual items. I know exactly how you feel.
We went to the park yesterday and surprise surprise, we didn't sweat like pigs and the kids didn't burn themselves on the playground seats.

I am also in Tigard BTW and loving it.

Exactly, Tim! We arrived Sat 6/25 and went to the Tigard car show the next day. Walked around amazed at how pleasant and green everything was. Cool breeze, grass to walk on instead of pavement, walk up the hill? Sure! It's nice out!
