Here are some promises:

Quote:
*Avoid responsibility for failures of previous Republican administration(s)
*Increase the negativity to create apathy with everyone except an energized base
*Start a whisper campaign to ‘throw the bums out’ and call for term limits
*Make a grandiose list of pledges to supposedly fulfill if they are elected
*Retake congress and hamstring reformer president

Term limits again! Sorry, I don't want the gov't telling me that I am not allowed to have a representative because they have been in there for so many years.

This doesn't mean anything to me. There should be one issue that the Republicans should ponder very deeply:

(1) The party and its members have learned, very effectively, how to get elected; however, the party and its members now need to learn how to govern effectively.

This goes for Democrats as well.

Yeah, I saw that on the CNN political ticker.

Draft Dick Cheney 2012
We hope that you will join our effort to convince former Vice President Richard Cheney to run for President of the United States in 2012. No other Republican leader has the stature or experience of Dick Cheney. He alone can lead the Republican coalition to victory in 2012!

Nope, that website is owned by one individual, who does not speak for "Republicans"...

there are lots of draft x for president, including one for Al Gore in 2012 movements.. Nothing unusual regardless of the political party.
