It seems like very few people I know trust the mainstream media to give them the information they need to make informed decisions on poltical candidates, the economy or current events.
I never unquestioningly trust any of them. When I run a google search for any currently controversial information, I always add the search term / -blog / (with a minus sign) to eliminate all hits that identify themselves as blogs.

Public radio? As in PBS? Your kidding. It should be called "Government Radio" It is as bad as CNN, or any of the biased so-called "mainstream" news papers.

PBS most definitely is left leaning. They always favor Democrats in their stories, and paint Republicans and conservatism negatively. Are you telling me you haven't noticed?

You can always tell when you're listining to an interview that is slanted to the Left. It will contain this question:
"Mr. Secretary, will you please answer the question?"
When it is slanted to the right, you will hear this question:
"That's nice, Mr. Secretay. Now here is the next question on the index card that you handed me before the show."
I go to InstaPundit and LittleGreenFootballs for 'what's up' and all the links. Then I go to dKos and HPost for comparison. You know, to be fair and balanced.
And of course, SNL.
