My wife's career has only gotten better these past years. She started out working for a contracter position in the military not making that much money, and now is working for a private company making well over double what she was making.
As for direct positive influence due to Obama's policies, she benefited from having extended coverage of health insurance.
think quality, very important when you are sick.... quality of health care.
I also would have been in the same situation if McCain but all this president does is campaign for higher taxes and just yesterday, for money. I'm not sure the American people would have tolerated if McCain were doing the same thing.
He would be doing the same thing, and people would tolerate it as well as they tolerate from Obama, or as well as they tolerated Bush Sr, or Reagan, it's just that different groups of people would do the supporting / opposing.
Some oppose such actions, and others accept them. Reagan did what Obama and Romney (and GOP) suggest we do with tax loop-holes, credits, subsidies etc. Reagan eliminated them, and not everyone supported that, and they called it "Tax Hikes", but most people accepted it because those programs benefitted only the few and the select, just like now. GOP has suggested we do that exact thing, but now they feel obligated to oppose their own idea because someone else put on the table, and once again we are forced to watch the silliest circus on earth.

But so many believe that Obama will make their life better. So I ask, who and how. I got lame answers. Things that were available long before Obama. How about Foxx calling Obama Our Lord and Savior, cult like beliefs. What am I missing. I do not see why people think he has done a great job?
And that is all we hear from the left... whine, whine. It's Bush's fault, they are racist, haters got to hate, vote... vote... vote for revenge, throw granny over the cliff, oh hell.... I don't have all day.
You do know Jamie Foxx is a comedian right? You do know he said that to get a rise out of people. It worked.

Of course I do and from what you are saying he is making fun of democrats and liberals.... OR
Even though Obama did not succeed in stopping the oceans from rising (as he promised to do in 2008), he did succeed in convincing Jamie Foxx he was our lord and savior.
So which is it? Was he making fun of democrats and liberals or is he convinced that Obama is our lord and savior.

Wow. He was making fun of the fact that people like you think that those that voted for Obama believe he's some sort of savior.
It seems to me that the purpose of your thread was to ask a question that you didn't care to be honestly answered. And you goal was to shot down any answer that didn't fit in with "I blame Obama and democrats for everything." Hell, you almost admitted to not believing redlining existed. What's the point of having a discussion if you are going to irrationally attack opposing views.
