Hey all:

In this grand country of ours we should have choices. We had Clinton, then Bush, now Obama. Great diversity there, but perhaps we need a woman this time around. I was not happy with Bush II, and there was/is no way I will put the Clintons back in the White House. Good God, we don't need dynasties in a country with this many people and this much talent!

Assuming for the moment, the Dem. vs. GOP victory next year will be dictated by the economy, we can forget about Mr. O. If it is improves he wins, if it continues sucking, he is gone. End of story.

So, to the GOP. How about someone new? Romney (Mormon (that is new-cool, not from Texas-cool, white guy, with good hair, bleh). On the Fiddlehead "novelty" meter, Romney gets a 4.

Bachmann (social conservative-been there, done that, Minnesotan-cool, woman-very cool). On the Fiddlehead "novelty" meter, Bachmann gets a 3.

Perry (social conservative-been there, done that, Texan-!@##@!#!@#!!!) On the Fiddlehead "novelty" meter, Perry gets a 0.

Cain (black man-been there, done that, black businessman, conservative-good, I think, Georgian-???) On the Fiddlehead "novelty" meter, Cain gets a 5.

Who would bring the newest, and freshest ideas to Washington?

For 2016, I would like to see Michael Bloomberg (I don't buy the rumor that the Dems. would put forward a challenger to O. next year-that would be suicide). He seems smart, moderate, and with broad appeal.

On the Fiddlehead "novelty" meter, Bloomberg gets a 3.

Lol! Michael Bloomberg is possibly the single person that would keep this conservative away from the polls. He could turn Texas blue.

Or maybe you mean Bloomberg should run for the Democratic nomination?

I was assuming GOP. Is he really hated that much in Texas?

Texas is by no means a solidly conservative state but I doubt that many Texas conservatives see Bloomberg as anything but left of center.

Bloomberg is also very pro-Green agenda. He has implemented many Green energy programs in NY. That stuff is like garlic to a vampire in Neocon circles.

Yes, Bloomberg believes in the science of global warming/climate change, supports gay marriage and does not need corporate money to decide his stances on the issues. Definitely a right wing nightmare.
