We currently live and work in the city. My daughter attends Pittsburgh Public and I have had enough. She is in elementary school and is bullied on an almost daily basis. I have brought it to the attention of the teachers and principal but it still continues.

The education she is receiving (or lacking) is definitely substandard. I know this for a fact as I also teach in Pittsburgh public schools.

I would love to get some input on how other parents like or dislike their school districts. I am mainly looking north of the city since I do not want a daily commute through any of the tunnels but am still open to suggestions.

Might have made a post in the wrong forum. Lots of people drinking these days. Can happen pretty easy.

Most of the districts north alone 279 and 79 are pretty good. NA and Pine-Richland are probably the tops. Then in the next tier would be North Hills and Avonworth.

I was going to recommend Hampton as well. I went there and so did my niece. Nice school district and small in comparison to some other districts.
