Here are some pics that I took when I was on R&R from Iraq in Norway this past September.
The photo of the cottage on a small lake is on top of a mountain. I cannot recall the name of the mountain, but it is in Bergen, and is accessed by cable car.



This waterfall is somewhere along Sognefjord. the boat pulled right up to it.



This is Flam. The end of the Sognefjord. As seen from the Waterfall named Brekkefossen.

And this is Brekkefossen. It is about a 2K (roughly 1 1/4 mile) walk up the mountain to get to it.


I have literally hundreds of great pictures. I am trying to upload more, but photobucket is taking forever. C-D will not upload pics with my slow internet connection here.

Great shots man! Id love to get to Norway, Im 1/2 Norwegian myself. Bergen and Alesund are high on my wish lists. Beautiful!
