My great-great-grandfather and mother emigrated to “America” in 1870. One of their sons Ole O. Krogstad (Crookstad) settled in Rock township, Mitchell County, Iowa as a farmer probably about 1888 after first having lived in North Dakota. He and his wife Karen (Carrie) had according to the census in 1900 7 children.
At the census in 1910 their son Anton is 23 years and had been married to Inga for 1 year, he is also a farmer.
I am very interesting in any information about the whereabouts of descendants from my g-g-grandparents if someone reading this can give me a hint or a clue.
