Agreed, although I don't think country music all sounds the same - I enjoy the alt-country/Americana country that's going on in Texas (Robert Earl Keen, Kevin Fowler, etc.) and I love Texas Swing (Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys for old timey stuff and bands like Asleep at the Wheel for the new stuff). I do dislike mainstream country music.
