I almost forgot!!!

My happy thing is fussy grannies......no I'm not one YET!

My husband's grandma was one of these....now mind you she had 33 grandchildren and fussed over every one of them!

We'd call her up and tell her we were coming....along the way we'd pick up a few more of the cousins...by the time we got there we'd have a bunch of us.

Oh how she would fuss..."I hope you don't think I'm gonna feed all of you!'
(she's saying this as she's peeling potatoes)

"I've got things to do!" (as she's making her homemade noodles)

We'd all offer to help...."NO!" "don't mess up my kitchen!"

Needless to say, we always had a feast and if we didn't eat, she'd fuss about that too.

She loved everyone of us deeply and we gladly returned the favor.

My husband had one of the fussy grannies, too! She was so cute, though! She stood about 4' 9" and was full of fire!! She was one of the few people that was shorter than me (that gave her extra credit right there)!! She drove a Lincoln Continental, too - watch out when granny was driving!!

She lived to be 94. Even though we didn't get to see her too often, we miss her.

That's wonderful, Granny Sue!

It beats those of us whose grannies were passed on or lived far away or whose health was compromised. A granny who can fuss over the grandkids is definitely a happy thing!

I'll bet you fuss over your grandkids, too!
