Did you go to college or are you a graduate of the school of hard knocks?

Both

Tell us your story if you’d like.

I rarely tell this in person because it makes the person uncomfortable. But I'm not ashamed, I did nothing wrong. My mother took her life when I was a freshman and still living at home, dad was living out of the country (they had been divorced for many years). So at 18 I was thrown out into the world and completely unprepared. I no longer had a "home" to return to over holidays, this group house with various rotating roommates was my home.

Do you or anyone in your household know how to sew? Even a little bit?

Wife can sew, just a bit but it qualifies

Some sound worse than the condition itself but have you noticed the number
of possible horrible side effects of some of the new medications advertised on TV?

This info is required by the laws, I don't believe the "new" meds have any more side effects than the previous ones, they just not have to disclose every possible side effect even if rare.

Are you taking any medications that have possible side effects?

The most bizarre one I heard in an ad was "oily discharge". I had no interest in finding out just what that was. To answer the question no

Have you ever seen any famous, original artwork in person, such as the “Mona Lisa”
or “American Gothic”?

I'm sure I have but can't be specific.

Do you own any original art pieces, whether it’s from a local artist or a well-known artist?

Oh sure, a drawing from a local artist
Extra Credit:

Anyone here experience frequent heartburn or acid reflux?

No I'm lucky in that regard

If so, what do you use to treat it?

Do you shop any places that require you to bring your own bags to put
your items in?

In the next county they charge .10 so people bring their own. I don't bother as I don't now when I was going to shop down there.

Do you take selfies? Why or why not?

Random Questions:

Did you go to college or are you a graduate of the school of hard knocks? 4 yr. college & then many classes through the years.
Tell us your story if you’d like. I loved my college years.

Do you or anyone in your household know how to sew? Even a little bit? I do know how to sew, but haven't had a sewing machine for many years.

Some sound worse than the condition itself but have you noticed the number
of possible horrible side effects of some of the new medications advertised on TV? Have..... and will make no further comments.
Are you taking any medications that have possible side effects? Do & see an oncologist every few months to discuss.

Have you ever seen any famous, original artwork in person, such as the “Mona Lisa”
or “American Gothic”? Have seen "Whistler's Mother," gone to exhibits from Van Gogh & Renoir all at the Clark, Paintings by Maxfield Parrish...... and others.
Do you own any original art pieces, whether it’s from a local artist or a well-known artist? Only prints from well known artists, a few pieces from a friend who paints, and a couple sculptures from a local artist.

Extra Credit:

Anyone here experience frequent heartburn or acid reflux? Not frequent, thankfully.
If so, what do you use to treat it?

Do you shop any places that require you to bring your own bags to put
your items in? Bread stores..... Now most places discourage using your reusable bags.

Do you take selfies? Why or why not? No. Why would I?

Would you rather:

Orange juice or Grapefruit juice? I don't drink juice any more. I used to like both orange and grapefruit.
Socks or slippers? Socks, though rather be barefoot.
Stairs or elevator? How many floors?
Carpet or hardwood floors? Hardwood, though I am looking for some area rugs.
Treadmill or stationary bike? Neither, thanks. I'd rather walk outside.
Sing or hum? Humming is best, given my voice.

Foodie Questions:

Big debate here – mayonnaise or Miracle Whip? If it’s mayo, what is
your favorite brand? This is a big debate in my family. I'm the only one who prefers Miracle Whip, so when with the family, I suffer.

How do prefer your chicken, steak and pork chops cooked? Of these, I only eat chicken and have many recipes.

Do you own any cookbooks? Many!
If so, how many do you have and do you use them? Too many to count. I really only use one.

Everyone be safe and have a great Wednesday Thanks, N/S!

Welcome to the Questions of the Day for April 15, 2020. Let’s go!
Random Questions:

Did you go to college or are you a graduate of the school of hard knocks?
Tell us your story if you’d like. I went to college with the intent of earning a teaching degree. Along the way, I started researching real estate investing, buying/renovating and selling properties purchased at sheriff sales, etc. So, I quit college, took a real estate course (which was harder than any college course I took) and earned my Realtors Designation. After 7-8 years of that, I advanced into another branch of real estate, and started my own company. Finally, I hit on what I was placed on this earth to do! Finally, I answer to nobody, have no boss, and make my own schedule. Life is good

Do you or anyone in your household know how to sew? Even a little bit? Yes, Daughter is a professional fashion designer. I taught her the basics in sewing when she was 7-8 years old, and she latched on to her dream!
