I still remember where I was on 10/10/10 at 1010pm. Ah the good old days when the three brothers who were always with me were young. They wanted me to be with them on such a momentous night. I'll have to ask them if they remember that.

In 'only' another 202 years, it will be 2/2/2222. I wonder what that will mean for those whose lucky number is 2?

I remember on 8/8/88 it got to 88 Degrees in Central Park. See this article 8/8/88: Let Octopi Clap And Let the Octets Sing and from the August 9, 1988 issue about the day before, an excerpt (link):

''But just looking at the numbers,'' as Mr. Gigi said, ''in terms of being the hottest summer on record, it won't be by any standard you pick.'' We're not even in a heat wave, he said, because by definition that requires three consecutive days of 90 degrees or above, and yesterday's high in New York City was 88, appropriate for 8/8/88. Sensing some professional disappointment on the other end of the phone, Mr. Gigi hastened to add: ''But it is hotter than normal.''

Ah yes! 8-8-88 I was a JcPenney Traveling Photographer. I remember giving customers are due dates, that were three weeks out. So, when 8-8-88 came up, I was thinking about it 3 weeks ahead. I heard that they were couples in China that got married in a large ceremony on 8-8-88. Ah the memories of anticipation of a date on a calendar.
