Tell me about a normal day of food for you...what do you eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner: I fix the same thing for our breakfast 6 days a week. Frozen Grands biscuit, frozen sausage patty, and an egg. One for me and one for my wife. The reason I say 6 days is Sunday mornings we let "Ronald" cook. Lunch, I fix her a sandwich before I nuke a couple corn dogs for me, and, when I think about it in time, I'll stick something in the crock pot so I won't have to take so long cooking supper.

Do you snack? That's like asking if I breath. lol

What are your favorite snacks? Honey roasted cashews, chips, pineapple

Share a favorite meal/recipe with us. My wife doesn't like rice but I do. I'll boil a couple boneless skinless chicken breasts, set them aside and mix some of that broth with some Swansons broth. That way we'll have enough to cook her noodles and chicken and I'll have enough for my rice and chicken.

I have only been to a horse race course once. It was way back in the 70s on a works outing. I only went because my dad was a big fan of horse racing. He used to watch it on the telly each Saturday afternoon, and place bets at the local bookmaker. I was astonished how quickly they ran as they passed me near the finishing line.

I do not know how to swim, but it isn't for lack of trying to learn. As a kid at school, we had a pool within the grounds. Once a week, we had swimming lessons. When it started, all my classmates were in the shallow end with me. As each one learned to swim, they moved to the deep end. I would watch them happily jumping off the diving board.

For some reason, as others floated, I sank like a stone. The teacher didn't give up on me......... "right David, what we'll do, is have you float on your back. I will support your head with this long hook. You just paddle away, and when I take the hook away, you'll be swimming on your back. Once you get used to that, we'll try it the other way..........." Waaaaal, I was watching like a hawk for the hook being removed. When it was, I sank like a stone.

I didn't give up easily. I bought a swimming mask, because I didn't like the sensation of the water going up my nose. The mask fitted nice and snug under my nose, and I was convinced this would help. It didn't...... I found out my dad couldn't swim, or my cousin Kenny. I decided it was a family genetic fault, and we just weren't meant to be able to swim.........

The last time I was at a beach, was in Spain a week ago. This was the same place we last ate out. We were on a full board deal at the hotel, which included meals, but we went out a couple of times to eat. I had steak, fries, and peas........ followed by cherry pie and custard - both times. I am a creature of habit.......

I would rather go to an art museum than a preview of a movie. I spent many a happy hour at the National Gallery in London back in the day. When I visited New York City, I made time to visit the Museum of Modern Art. It was great to finally see the Starry Night by Vincent van Gogh in reality. My wife preferred The Postman..........

Tell me about a normal day of food for you...what do you eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner:ohhhh you don't wanna know. I rarely eat breakfast. Eat far too much sugar. Lunch recently has been apple and peanut butter. Dinner varies drastically from healthy to Taco Bell.

What are your favorite snacks? chocolate, chips, cheese n crackers, hummus, nuts, the list goes on - I love snacking better than full meals usually.

Have you ever gone on a diet/or changed your eating habits? yes once years ago and need to make a change now but haven't gotten motivated yet

Which ones work the best for you? i did weight watchers. Like now, I wasn't heavy from most people's perspectives, but my weight was creeping up and I wanted to reverse the trend. It was successful and I kept those ten or so extra pounds off for over a decade.

What are some hints for staying healthy? eat in moderation, exercise - don't sit too much, drink water, stay mentally active, stay socially active, use sunscreen, don't smoke

Share a favorite meal/recipe with us - as a couple spaghetti is a special meal for us - I make the sauce and pasta - he makes the salad and garlic toast. It reinforces our bond and teamwork - and we anticipate a delicious meal and enjoyable time together.
