I would've spent a semester studying abroad during college. I had the opportunity to go to England or Germany for a semester, but at that point I was 19, had never been far from home, and my dad was still really distraught over my mom's death 2 years earlier (I felt I should stay near him). In retrospect, though, I wish I'd have spent that semester in Europe.
Hmmmm, boy what to start with......................
I would've stood up to my mother and let her throw me out in the streets for choosing a full time job over college; I would've maried the guy I was dating at 19 (he was a good guy with a good job, I just didn't feel 100% ready so broke up w/me).
That's pretty much where it all started. Had I CHOSEN the path my life went, I would've left my ex-husband sooner than I did.
I would have stopped seeing my ex husband when I first started having doubts about him (which was after our 3rd date)... staying with him has changed my entire life. I like my like today but I wonder what my life would have been like if we never met... or stayed together. I think I'll always wonder about that.
