I dont know too much about the Metro West area. I usually spend most of my time downtown or the east side

Two of my best friends live in Pine Hills and with gas prices going up, I would like to save gas and try hanging out in Metro West for once. It seems like a nice area, does anybody know of some good places off Hiawassee or something for drinks? Not too expensive?

Years ago, Sam Snead's Tavern on Hiawassee used to be a hot spot. It has since been replaced by the Pour House which might fit your bill. Don't know how pricey it is though ... there's also the Stonewood Tavern and Gators on Dr Phillips Blvd not too far from there.
