hello!
im new to this forum.. My husband and I are moving up to Orlando from Miami, where he will be attending the Marine Mechanic Institute and I was wondering if anyone has heard of this school? anything I should know? and also we are apartment hunting but everything I stumble across have bad reviews, so if anyone has any good areas just let me know, THANKS AGAIN!!

Certainly have heard of MMI. I've had a few friends go to their Motorcycle version and they all said it was a great school.
All apartments are going to have good reviews and bad reviews, The only real way is to go to every place around and talk to all their residents! There's a pretty good apartment finding service here in Orlando that will work with you for free, Check out

I was born and raised in Miami. Child of the 60's. I lived in Orlando from 1982 until 2006. I moved from Orlando in March, 2006 and stayed in Miami until June, 2007. Miami was horrible to us and the life just too harsh. Not my home town anymore. We sold our home on the East Side of Orlando and we now living on the West Side but the north end and its crime ridden. The managers and workers of that complex deceived us and we literally sometimes live in fear. Whatever you do, don't move to Waterstone Apts. We're waiting now for a kitchen light replacement that was ordered on Friday and today is Monday and the office has been open everday since I put in the order. My daughter stopped in Monday to see if they would give it to her to put up and that was a no. They have to do it. My husbands truck window was shot out with a BB Gun in the complex. They assured me these apartments were under new management and people don't hang out unless its kids. Wrong. My windows rattle from the cars music box systems when they drive through. I have a heart condition so it makes my heart do things that isn't comfortable. Kids are hanging out but, theres a young boy in here, no more than 8 or 9 years old and he's hangs outside smoking marijuana with older kids and family. This is the pits but, we have faith and God will get us out soon. I wish you the best. I'm not familiar with the school you will be attending. Blessings to you.

im new to this forum.. My husband and I are moving up to Orlando from Miami, where he will be attending the Marine Mechanic Institute and I was wondering if anyone has heard of this school? anything I should know? and also we are apartment hunting but everything I stumble across have bad reviews, so if anyone has any good areas just let me know, THANKS AGAIN!!
