The Costa Mesa Omelette Parlor on East 17th Street is shutting its doors sometime this month after a near 27-year run, said owner Susan Adkins.

Adkins said she was given a 30-day notice last month by the property owner who plans to level the shopping center to include more retail shops. The makeover will include a bigger Vons.

They may relocate but that doesn't always work out well, not to mention its expensive as hell.

Boy, that's hard-nosed business practice isn't it? 27 years get you 30 days to GTFO.

Awwwwww crap. It'll probably be replaced by some trendy hipster POS like Pinkberry, or some yuppified chain eatery.

Hey now, let's not judge Pinkberry so harshly. Their tart yogurt is pretty good.

This is why nationalized health care cannot work.

You think a scoop of peanut butter on a hamburger is a sign that nationalized health care system won't work?
And that as much as 40% of the population agrees with you?
