Can anyone tell me if the area of Laurel and N.42 is a good and safe area to live? I'm from Michigan and looking to move there in the spring and found this house on line.

I lived on N. 45th at one point, and I wouldn't have gone lower than that. How funny, you're moving from Michigan to Omaha, and we just moved back to Michigan from Omaha, lol. If the unemployment rate is one of the reasons you're moving there (which is why we moved there), you won't be disappointed. It only went up half a point in the three years that we were there, to 5.0, I think.
