You all were very helpful in me finding a dermatologist. I now need help in finding a primary physician/provider for physicals, general checkups, etc. I live in Falls Church, Va near the Tyson's corner mall. Can you please recommend a primary physician? Is there a certain company here that many doctors belong too that I should research in search of one? Thanks again.

If you sign up for Consumers' Checkbook, it has ratings of all types of doctors (and plumbers, painters, etc.). Sorry I don't have a specific recc--just don't know of any docs up that way.

I used to see Sandra Tirado - off Courthouse (or Old Courthouse?) Rd. - Tysons area. She's a primary care - I moved further than I want to drive to Tysons to see someone for, she seemed pretty knowledgeable.

Do you have insurance? If so, you may want to check their listings to find doctors who are preferred providers. Hopefully you'll be able to find someone who's both recommended by others and who accepts your insurance.
