I live in PA! But work in new york! Am i required to pay state taxes twice!
New york and pa. This is so confusing. I know there is no aggreement between these two states. My husband when he does his taxes,is always required to pay pa taxes every 3 months, whatever he owes in this state.
Is there is somekind of form he requires to fill out!
I need help in trying to figure this one out.

I would call your accountant and get the proper legal advice. I can tell you that I lived here and worked in NY and was required by law to pay PA taxes, even though they did not amount to much.

My husband went through this & we paid PA taxes as well as NY taxes & then had to file for reimbursement for the PA taxes with proof of paying NY ones. Had an accountant do it & was still a pain. I'd definitely think about getting someone who is familiar with this situation. I'm sure there are plenty.
