My wife and three children would like to relocate from NW PA upon her graduating from nursing school in a year. We are ready to depart from the long cold winters of NW PA and also would like a live in a more "progressive" area. I have a brother who resides in Las Vegas. We reasearched the area throughly, love the area, weather ect.. but feel there may be a better place when it comes to raising our children. I am in law enforcement here in PA and have been for about (12) years. Even though some places have slowed down there hiring most places I feel will hire at some point. Our main focus is a better climate for sure, more modern, progressive area with good schools. We also wnat to be within a days drive or so to family which will remain in PA. We usually find that most attractive areas we research are lacking in schools...I can't beleive that NW PA is the only are with good schools? I appreciate any comments or suggestions. I know that every place has it ups and downs but we are looking to narrow down are search with the help of your suggestions and comments. Thank you.
