Good afternoon,

I'm looking for a few restaurant options in Midtown to plan a christmas/chanukah/festivus/whatever corporate dinner in december. This would be a run of the mill three course dinner, with perhaps a 1 hour open bar beforehand.

Are there any restaurants that you recommend based on past positive (or negative) experiences?

The event would have to be held in a private room/space, for 20-25 people and cost below $5,000.

In my personal experiences with these types of corporate events, the only thing worse than attending them, is having to actually plan them.

Thanks for your time

Unless you are going really LOW rent, your budget does not appear realistic for midtown. $25 people at $20 per person WITH an open bar???? 1 hour open bar is a bit chintzy too.

Pasta Lovers, maybe Carmines, TGIF perhaps, something like that or one of the Irish Bars.

I mean really, what midtown restaurant where dinner is only $20 plus a couple of drinks!!!

Why not have a catered party in the office?

I don't fully understand your comment. The budget is $5,000 not $500. That's $200 per person, not $20.

I will agree that trying to do this in midtown will be difficult, but surely not impossible.

She really knows what she's doing with many years of experience. She planned a classy chaunuka-themed event in midtown Manhattan at the Aspen Social Club
