He keeps "misunderstanding" this point, even though it's been made before. It's not that they're not advertising it at all; they're advertising it (or so it appears) the absolute minimum permitted by the regulations, where many developments exceed those requirements.

Construction completed. Not a single reference to "affordable" or "low income" housing lottery or whatever.

This property was conceived as a 29 story (or taller) luxury condo development. At some point things switched to a 25 story luxury rental with "condo" features and amenities.

Perhaps at some point to build higher developers entertained getting some sort of density or zoning bonus in exchange for providing "affordable" or "low income" housing. Somewhere along lines plans changed and building simply went up as of right.

Yeah all the articles leading up to the most recent one said affordable on YIMBY I didn't know it could change I assumed that was something that was decided pre build but in order to be allowed to build at all but I also don't know the ins and outs of those kinds of decisions and the tax benefits have also expired.

Try here: https://apps.hcr.ny.gov/BuildingSearch/

My building was new and didn't show until ~18 months after I moved in but now it shows and indicates which tax program it is under.
