Is Lyndhurst Going "Downhill" ? (real estate, crime, schools)

Town seems a lot more diverse than even a couple of years ago. Are schools weakening? Is it becoming less safe? Anyone have any insight into this town's history and present day status? Will real estate in Lyndhurst plummet eventually? Or is the town similar to how it has always been?
When I typed it I was just busting your chops; I meant it literally.
But to answer your question seriously, the same statement kind of applies, figuratively. I think Lyndhurst, and much of southern Bergen County, is an area people move to from lower income areas like much of Hudson County when they can't afford the pricier areas of Bergen County. They certainly see it as an upgrade for themselves. You alluded to the fact that the area becoming more diverse may be contributing to the the town going downhill. If diversity = going downhill for you, then yes, Lyndhurst is going downhill. But I think you'll find most towns are more racially diverse today than they were 20 or even just 10 years ago, especially if you're talking about Latinos.
That isn't what I meant, solely on diversity. I also asked if schools were weakening, and now to elaborate, has crime increased over the past several years? There are many factors that can contribute to a town going down the tubes, so you're mistaken if you think I was equating diversity with a weakened town overall.
It seems like anyone who can afford 2019 Real Estate prices within 1 hour of NYC are working white collar professionals (often dual income) or flippers. So no, it's not going downhill.

There are plenty of towns within 1 hour of NYC that are not desirable.
Lyndhurst was never desirable, despite the best efforts of realtors to influence public opinion to the contrary.
I would say the only places in the state that are truly digressing right now are in rural areas.
