Hi Friends,
I am a resident of Edison, NJ and we signed a contract for a house to be built in Bellemead, NJ which is under construction right now but in the mean time, my son got an admission in a private high school in Hightstown, NJ to join there from September.
I appreciate your experience/thoughts of morning commute from Belle mead to Hightstown (I think I only have a way to go via Plainsboro and Cranbury) or any other route advises or over all do you appreciate the move...please share your thoughts !!

Thank you,
Sam

The regular mapping program has it as 37 mnutes NOW i'd say off rush hour, you coould check later or adjust the time,,,

Im thinking you could go along the canal a bit too, I did that years ago.

Thank you so much Captne76. Really appreciate. Is it worth moving to Bellemead or better stay back in Edison and commute on Turnpike?

is the traffic on 206, towards Plainboro and cranberry is too bad in the morning?

That is a rough commute. I wouldn't want to do it. 20 miles of backroads around Princeton is not going to be easy and there are no secret shortcuts. That could be close to 45-60 minutes each way

I would move somewhere closer to Hightstown if you are going to move
