My husband and I plan to move to TN in June.

We are looking to rent our first year until we decide on an area that's best for us. We would like to rent outside of the city. Safety and affordability is the number on things we must have seeing as we have young children! I definitely don't want to live near high traffic areas. Small towns will do just fine I'm having a hard time narrowing down our options. Please help this mama!

Thank you!

What's your budget? Where will you be working? We need something to give you direction.

Septimus,

We would like to not go over 800 a month. We're still considering job options at this point. We have been looking at the Cookeville area. We don't want to be too far from Nashville. We want to be within 45 minutes of a VA as well since my husband is a veteran. My husband will be continuing his engineering degree, so we though Cookeville may be best.

There is a VA outpatient clinic in Cookeville.

Awesome! Even better! We love that it's a smaller town as well. Does anyone know about the schools?
