With the current proposed changes here's the new division:

Detroit Red Wings, Chicago Blackhawks, Columbus Blue Jackets, Nashville Predators, Winnipeg Jets, Dallas Stars, Minnesota Wild, St. Louis Blues

Looks good to me! What do the long time fans think?

I'm not crazy about the 4 conference alignment...but that's the best possible group of teams the Preds could've wished for.

It reminds me a lot of the early 90s before Bettman messed everything up in the first place.

Looks good to me. Keeping Detroit & Chicago in the mix gives the Pred's something to shoot for every year. Keeping Columbus & StLouis preserves some competition. In the long run, if the Preds can stay competitive as the 3rd or 4th best team keeps them in the playoffs. To make a real run, the Preds will have to beat one or the other ( or both). Having 1 home & home games against all the other teams may help sell some tickets on slow nights.
