I hope this is ok to post this here, if not, Mods please let me know ...
I'm planning on moving to Nashville in 4 to 5 months. I'm not moving to get into the music industry - however, I am a writer and do some song writing (lyrics). I've published articles and even a book but never any music. I'd love to find someone to collaborate with to help write the music and help with lyrics too. I used to play guitar as a teen but I have long since forgotten how to play! I am NOT a singer so singing my songs at open mic nights wouldn't go over very well. LOL. Writing lyrics is an emotional "outlet", something I enjoy, not something I plan to make a career of (but, hey, if that happened, I wouldn't complain, LOL).
I'm a 40 yr old female. I have a degree in Religion (Christianity). My musical interests are Christian and country. My career goal is Christian writing (novels) and publishing but I would like to find someone to write some songs with (even as a hobby).
Anyone interested in this? We could email back and forth until I get relocated up there.
