I still have that album, Heaven and Hell, on vinyl. First heard this driving I-10 on an LA AM radio station in June 1980 (in a '77 Pinto with only an AM radio).

Ronnie James Dio didn't even make Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Vocalists... a true miscarriage of justice. Other lists generally have him in the top 10, along with Bruce Dickinson, Freddie Mercury (a given), Sammy Hagar, Robert Plant, Rob Halford and Chris Cornell. Those same lists include Ozzy, but that's another thread and/or forum.
Another big voice, Lou Gramm on his own, "Ready or Not". Big hair, shoulder pads, leather bolero jackets, pencil skirts... very 1987.
