I'm a child of the Fifties, but I miss the Eighties! I agree that music started going downhill in the Nineties when MTV turned its back on hard rock/Heavy Metal and other artists in exchange for grunge, rap and hiphop. It turned out that they cut their own throats and left us with far too many talentless, overpaid anti-music non-artists. I'm not just into Metal/rock either. I liked practically all of the Eighties music. I also love practically everything in the past. But, the Nineties rang the death knell on true vocalists and musicians. I know there are a few good ones out there, but I got weary seeking them.
