I loved their music years ago when they came into the scene.

Songs like "shiver", "clocks"

Today, they put me to the Yoko Ono effect.

Do I have any allies?

I keep telling myself I shouldn't like Coldplay - I'm BETTER than that. But I admit that I don't automatically change the station when they come on.

U2 used to be fans too but I hear they're going at it with Bono, is that right? If so, what's that about?

There are a couple of their songs I like. Yellow will always be a favorite and I really like Fix You but other than that I've always considered them to be overhyped and under talented.

I used to consider them the poor man's Radiohead, back in the day...(8-9 years ago?!) but since I can't escape them, I've found them to be better song crafters than they used to be, so now they're kinda growing on me as the middle of the road wanna be Radiohead, which is an improvement to me...they are suffering from overexposure though and they need to hide on a hiatus before EVERYONE hates them...

Aw, I really like some of their songs : In My Place, Sparks, Yellow, and The Scientist, to name a few. I'm sure there are more, but those are the ones that came to mind right away.
