I just finished up a DVD 6 pack of Dean Martin's Celebrity Roasts, the one featuring Lucille Ball had me falling off my chair with laughter, particularly when it was Foster Brooks' turn, who plays the stammering drunk.
I could watch these over and over again. And things you'll never ever see again, like all the smoker's, smoking right through the Roasting.
Do you know of other stars that have featured these type of Celebrity Roasts in the past 20-30 years?

Unfortunately the few roasts I have seen in recent years are incredibly vulgar.

Seriously, I'm all down for the concept of these roasts, love the old-timey ones, and some new ones, too, but man they can get downright gross. As in other forms of entertainment, I guess the bar just has to get lowered in order to achieve the same shock value.

The Dean Martin roasts were nothing like this! They were funny, but not vulgar!
