But SHARKNADO wasn't a bad movie. It was an inept movie. It wasn't even good by bad movie standards. It was like the director knew absolutely nothing about filmmaking. One scene would have absolutely nothing to do with the next. A character is standing in a rainstorm, drenched, and then the camera switches to the guy next to him, who is standing against blue sky, completely dry. The wave-tossed ocean becomes serence and calm from shot to shot. Washed out streets become dry. A soaking wet character is dry in the next scene.

You are right I noticed that too. Not much attention to detail or continuity.
You mentioned Flash Gordon-Truly a classic, And great to look at even though the backgrounds were laughably fake looking. The part in the movie
Ted where Sam Jones gets a Ming the merciless flashback and goes bonkers has made me laugh countless times over.
He saved EVERY one of us!
