Yah, well Russell gained too much weight from being in Les Miz, so I guess I will take Gerald Butler instead. He sorta looks like Crowe anyway.

Pretty uninspired and the casting was again uninspired.

LOL I wondered the same thing. At first I thought Morgan Freeman was going to be the President, since it would have made more sense. But he only made it to Speaker of the House, who takes over if the vice isn't around, right?

Liked it. Not an award winner, but most movies aren't. All-in-all we left enjoying the experience.

It's entertaining, but don't relate it to any of the other movies mentioned in this thread.

And the CGI was way over the top and looked too fake.

Really fun movie. I didn't think the CGI was that bad.

If you're an average joe movie guy who enjoys big action movies, you'll like this one. Predictable? Sure. A few "yeah right" moments? Of course, that's to be expected. But if you just sit back and enjoy it for what it is, really cool movie.

Maybe it is because every other president until now was white!

It is a movie man...do you expect them to get the current president for all movies that have a president in it?

Saw this film Thursday. Great movie. The invasion of the White House gave a feeling of dread esp after they breached the gates. The actors were good and likeable enough where you rooted for them and the main baddie was very convincing and what his ultimate mission was scary. There was a huge plot hole though with Mr. Evil guy that I thought of later, But films like this you have to suspend disbelief sometimes as it is indeed a movie.

Felt like Die hard meets Air force one.
