Living here for 2 years, still feeling that I'm just starting to discover the city. Why not to start a thread to share anything that you've seen, experienced, and liked.

For example, today I've discovered a Zip-lining park for kids by the Olympic stadium. Lots of kids 6-13 were climbing up in the air. Season pass $55 (open till the end of September), one day $21 (+tax).
Exalto park | Parc olympique de Montréal. (I guess it's a budget replacement for the Arbraska park)

Huge water slides, natural beach - Super Aqua Club at Point Calumet (accessible by public transport, even though it's off the island).
Super Aqua Club | Les spécialistes du plaisir aquatique!

Oka parc had a beach so packed, it was almost incredible. The water is good for families with toddlers, as it is shallow (up to your knees) all the way to the buoys. It may be disappointing for people who want to actually swim.
Parc national d

U-pick of strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries - this place seems to be open all the time, others are open just particular days/times. All three species are to be picked till September 6! Yes, special breed of long-playing strawberries. http://abelisle.com/horaire.php?id=2

Admittedly, my interests are on the "family fun" side, but anything and everything would be welcome here.

I once stayed in a pair of rundown apartment buildings just North of the Latin Quarter that were home to apparently 30 to 40 people. It must be some sort of squat. I've never seen anything like it in my life. It was just a bunch of alternative-looking people and hippies, and they were making their own rum in huge glass drums. Cats everywhere. Parties every night. Everything filthy.

It was an interesting experience to say the least.

I think it was offered through Couchsurfing. I'm not criticizing. I got a place to stay for free that was fairly central, I just wasn't quite expecting the whole aesthetic of it.

Well - can't beat free lol... Also sometimes going outside a comfort zone is a good thing and hey - looks like the experience makes for interesting memories

If you can get your hands on a radio that broadcasts the aircraft band the experience is heightened substantial as you listen to pilots communicate with tower or ground control.

I used to love to go to Atwater Market with my mom as a kid. The seafood selection during the summer months was awesome!
I'd never been to Jean-Talon Market. I just did a street view on Googlemaps and it looks huge, but the area around it looks pretty iffy/rough. Is it?
