I have gone back and forth about moving to CT to NC TO Vancouver trying to decide where to move. I was born in Toronto (my family is there). But I moved to LA in third grade then lived in Santa Cruz Ca for 12 years. I've earned my Masters in teaching I have not been able to get a job here in California, and know I could move back to Canada.... 36, single with a horse (competive equestrian) and a beagle. Vancouver looks great but lacks jobs for teachers and is expensive?ANy input from my homeland? Will I find Canada just more of a fit for me?

From your post it sounds as though you're not looking for a fit, but rather, a job.

I have no idea of the job market for teachers, but coming from the US, I think your first concern might be whether your US credentials will transfer to which ever province you consider

Almost all the independent/private schools in Metro Vancouver offer IB MYP. If you have IB teaching credentials, you might want to check out the 'career' page of the schools websites, and the ministry of education.
