Hey!

I will be visiting Montreal from NYC in March 25.

How is the weather typically in Montreal by end of March?
Is it still snow on ground and/or snowing?

Should I bring heavy winter jacket, or just thick sweater or light jacket?
I will be outdoor all day on that day.

Thanks for respond!!

Late March weather in Montreal is relatively sunny but you may still have snow on the ground, and snowfall (even a stray snowstorm) is definitely still a possibility. Normal highs are in the low/mid 40s, normal lows around freezing -- probably about 3 weeks behind NYC in terms of spring weather (i.e. current NYC weather). If you're going to be outdoors visiting you probably should be packing with the worst-case scenario in mind..

Agreed that it's lags behind NYC a month or so. Bring a heavy jacket, you'll probably need it.
