Okay, I am going to Mobicon (Mobile Comic Con) this Saturday and I want to stay from 8am to 5pm/6pm.

Rather than using a parking meter (max 2 hours), I want to go to a parking garage next to Renaissance Mobile Riverview Plaza Hotel where Mobicon will be held at. But I am not sure if I would do it, imagining that I would automatically be charged 28 dollars (total of 7 hours) during hourly rates rather than 16 dollars for 24 hours/per daily and they would only not accept cash but credit cards, despite that do take cash. But I really want to do daily/24 hours rates rather than hourly just to save money and I want to use cash instead of debit.

Two questions. If anyone of you guys did the parking garage in Renaissance Mobile Riverview Plaza Hotel, do they really accept cash and have 2 options you can choose from two rates called hourly and daily?

Can anyone give me good advice where I can park if I’m not using debit/credit card? Are there any way I can park and leave my car there for more than 2 hours? I really don't want to be risk being overcharged or stuck without a debit/credit card if I do the parking garage and I want to park very close to the Renaissance Plaza Hotel that I can walk to

I’d appreciate it.

Do the parking meters charge on the weekend?

Also, just park under the interstate by Fort Condi. It is always free. 1 block walk to the Riverview Hotel.

Don't you mean this free parking from this link above? It's always free as long as you're not parking over night?

Street parking is free after 6pm and on weekends. No need to pay the parking meters
