Could there be a planet with humans on it just like our own? On this planet, humans have evolved to the same point we evolve and if you went to this planet you would never know you left earth . Well maybe this planet has a country like the united states with it's own southern region. And in that country's southern region, maybe there is a state that is so southern ,it makes the culture of Mississippi look and feel like New York City in comparison? Could such a place exist ya'll. Would those people call all you mississippins YANKEES?

Yes, it does exist on this planet - in TV and books and mainstream media. It does exist - in people's minds. Just read some of the posts from visitors to this forum, the one who's sum knowledge of the south comes from watching Dukes of Hazard re-runs. You would think we don't have running water down here, and that the toothless guy from "Deliverence" is our next door neighbor. The ones that start posts that say "will I be called a yankee", or "I am a person of color, will people burn crosses on my lawn"?
You can also invent a time machine and go back 150 years.

No, seriously and in reality - the south that people want to believe or think exists does not, and probably never did, exist. But...I am responding to a troll anyways, right?
