Thought I'd add a couple of photos from the Petoskey and Harbor Springs area today. Please excuse the fuzziness of the church, heat haze in September :}
In order, Downtown Harbor Springs, Bill's Farm Market Petoskey, Little Traverse Bay

Went out for a drive today and found a couple shots of Fall views, plus an unexpected photo or two of a Heron. Little bugger was standing in a ditch alongside the dirt road and didn't wander, then fly off until I was CLOSE.

Cutting silage for the cows this winter.

A tree growing out of a silo is just starting to turn colors... I am keeping an eye on it and want to see it when it is fully turned.

OK< this could be any season, but the deep blue sky and the weathered leather on the harness, and weathered wood of the barn beam I think makes a cool shot.

The Blue Heron I was able to get close to, I believe it is a female.

When it started to walk away I knew it was getting ready to take off.

Yep, right on cue. Bummer part is that when it took off it swung its head away from me and just out of sharp focus... Arrrrg.
