I'm enjoying the cooler weather but today was damp and dreary. It made me decide not to do my exercise (walk) outside! lol.... It doesn't take much to convince me!

Yeh I wanted to complain about yesterday and today, then I saw the report that 75% of the country will be at Freezing temperatures this week..with places like Chicago and Iowa at negative temperatures.

Guess I'll suck up my 50 degree gloomy day ;-)

Yep, we are beginning to get into the rainy and daily patterns...The Day Heat is the factory for the dark clouds, then come the Thunderstorms and the Skyes break loose.

Figured I would revive this thread.

Interesting 2019 from my perspective....few more (as in 3-5) “chillier” days this winter; little more rain than normal during our dry season; summer started a little earlier this year; seems like little less rain than average this summer; mostly very good weather the past month with temperatures mainly in the 80’s—not 90’s.

Funny how on other CD forums some have the misconception that SoFla is uninhabitable during the summer. Nothing could be further from the truth—at least near the water. There might be 10-15 days the entire year where it feels much hotter than I like (no breezes, no cloud coverage, excessive humidity), where I might opt to be indoors from 1-4:30PM but not all day. 2 3/4 years since I moved here from San Diego the Miami weather remains an asset and pleasant surprise—including the summer.

I live far from the Ocean Side, yet here it's been marvelous..I mean today a buddy and I went to gas up his motor bike to Wawa around 9:45 AM, we got some of their great coffee and went outside to shoot the breeze where the Sun was not directly on you, and it was amazinn, both of us long time residents of West Kendall and weather like this AM, we never had 5-6 yrs ago.

Just fantastic for S Florida !!!
