I am looking for recommendations on good Chinese take out in the vicinity of Kendall/Westchester/South Miami. I used to good to one that was really good but has severely declined the last couple of times that I have gone.

Lee's Chinese
(305) 271-4891
7102 SW 117th Ave
Miami, FL 33183
The Peruvian place next door, El Tambo, has a wonderful rotisserie chicken.

But, but if you can ever get up to Hialeah then please try here:

China Steak House
(305) 556-5778
4262 W 12TH AVE
HIALEAH, FL 33012

I have to plug the Hialeah folk as I think they are the best in town I have tried thus far. Lee's is very good as well.

Are those in Hialeah, Chinese Cubans? I remember going to a Chinese Cuban spot in Hialeah once.

Yes they are Chinese Cubans. Fully bilingual in both.

They used to be on West 68 street and 13/14avenue but the mall has been razed for new construction.

Outstanding choice.

I knew them when they were Chins Chinese as we lived within walking distance. My family and their family would swap food- Hispanic for Chinese. We owned a restaurant.

Great Jamaican. They were also featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.

Mother is Spanish. Worked for the Cuban gov't. That is how she ended up here.

Father is Puerto Rican. Came to NYC in 1941. Learned his trade a numerous restaurants. Owned a Jewish BBQ!

King BBQ on Sunset and 104ave was our place. Sunset Bowling was next door-now a self storage place. My older brother went to school with the Ruzzis(phonetic spelling on my part)-black chinese jamaicans who owned Chins.

The people who own Chins are straight Chiney though, not Black Chinese. What's up with the Chinese restaurants in PR? Are they good? I think the Chinese in other countries give more food than here. I went to this one Chinese restaurant in Colombia and they gave plenty food. I guess Jamaica is the only country you see Chinese restaurants ran by Black people/cooks lol. Just came from there and saw this in Mandeville.

Oops. My error. Ruzzis Jamaican next door to Chins. My error. Too many decades have passed and I melded them into one.

I was thinking about the above while away from the keyboard and now see you noticed my error before I could edit. My apologizes. Was not trying to BS anyone.

No idea about PR. Father never cared for PR after being here.
