Both have houses in our price range. Both are convienent to work. Schools are a little better in Acton. Can get a little more house in Acton. Alreay have Sudbury friends.

If you had a choice which would you choose?

Unless there's something that tips the scales (e.g. plethora of friends in one town, commuting convenience, etc.) I would pick Acton if you want a more community-oriented, traditional suburban experience; Acton is still a place where teachers and small business owners live in number. If you want more land, zip code cachet, and a typically more rustic experience, I would pick Sudbury.
