Hi everyone, thanks for reading this post!Can anyone recommend some dog kennels on the outskirts? My dog is quite old and sleeps most of the day, so we aren't looking for anything fancy. Also, we're concerned that we might have difficulty finding a kennel as we're coming from out-of-state. Does anyone have experience with this? Please let me know!

Our 4-year old labradoodle and 9 year old tabby really love the folks at Bear Brook Kennel in Brewer. It's on the way to Ellsworth, Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park. They have a website. They make our kids feel very welcome. They might let your old pup sleep under the counter at the front desk. We've seen other get this special treatment.
